About the Artist
Linda Clark My desire to paint grew from my love of the Florida Coast and its wildlife, as well as an avid interest in gardening. If it flies over the Gulf, swims in Apalachicola Bay, or grows in my yard, it's often likely to inspire me to reach for my tubes of paint, a few brushes, and my trusty chipped Coke glass filled with water.

I started sketching several years ago and promised myself I would buy watercolor paints after completing a particularly tedious needlework project. The first time I watched the color flow and soak into the paper, I was hooked! My enthusiasm for it has only grown.

My watercolor paintings provide me with the opportunity to create lasting impressions of natural Florida. My painted furniture adds charm and whimsy to ordinary pieces. I love to paint and I paint what I love. I hope my efforts bring enjoyment to you, too.

My studio is located in Killearn in beautiful Northeast Tallahassee (3624 Shamrock W. in Killearn Estates, just slightly north of the Killarney Way roundabout).

Linda and her husband Al have lived in Tallahassee, Florida, for 30+ years. They have two children, three grandchildren, and five cats.
